Senior Programs and Services Forum
The Hummelstown Parks and Recreation Board is sponsoring a “Town Talk” event on programs and services for older Pennsylvanians. This Senior Forum will take place on Friday, April 27th at the Hummelstown Fire Hall, 249 E. Main St. from 9:30 am—noon.
There will be experts addressing the topic of senior fraud and scams. Officials from AARP and the Dauphin County Area on Aging will present information on programs and services that are available for older Pennsylvanians—many of which are funded through the PA Lottery. They will address questions regarding program eligibility and provide information and guidance on applying for and accessing programs and services. Handouts with information on programs will be available.
Transportation to and from the event will be available through Elder Express. Anyone interested in utilizing Elder Express should call 717-566-7000 between the hours of 9:00 am and noon no later than April 26th to schedule a ride.
